St.Augustines lost a close one to Helix so they could be a factor too. It’s good to see the SD section trending up.

I don’t remember saying there wasn’t good football being played there. Coulda sworn I said that the SDS winner would be chosen over Narbonne earlier. Mission League may be getting exposed, though. frankyjames
It is funny seeing all these SoCal posters bash San Diego for so long. One of em suddenly beats Cen10 and then they all do a total 180- especially when that team gets blown out by Helix. Send one of em to the dogs in the 1AA game and watch Folsom stay undefeated

What about home field? Will the top four seeds get home field for the first week, or will they go to a coin flip before the playoffs start? There will be a bye after week 10 so basically the finals will be played with everyone else. my understanding is top 4 will get home games and then it’s typical CIF playoff rules for home game after that.

Chapparal for who they are, having a good year so far. Big game for them coming up with Vista Murrieta.

Open- DLS vs MD (So Cal Knocked Out = SJB, MV, CC, Servite, JSerra) (Nor Cal Knocked Out= Liberty, PITT) D1-AA- Folsom vs Narbonne or SDCC (So Cal Knocked Out= SS D2 + Helix) Narbonne and SD are picked over SSD2 winner..(Folsom Beats Central (Fresno) in Regional)... D1-A- Serra (San Mateo) vs Corona del Mar (CDM upsets SS D2 Winner in Regional)...(Serra Beats SJS or NCS D2 Winner)... Fun to speculate and think about but alot of football left!!!...

bigrobstercraws
St Mission Viejo only beat El Toro 56-0? CJ must have a soft spot for his alma mater. This is the worst El Toro team since the dark years of the early 2000s. It actually might be the worst team in school history.

They and Cen10 took the second half off in their games. Both teams will enter the playoffs not having seen as many first team reps as whoever the opponents will be. Since the opponents will be the equivalent of usual second round teams, they are going to need to adjust to the speed quickly.
