Rancho Verde should be playing Chaminade. There is a precedent: ((Cover your eyes, Sammy) In the 1974 playoffs, St. Paul clobbered Pioneer 44-8, then had to forfeit for spying on Pioneer's practices. Armed with the forfeit win, Pioneer advanced to the 2nd round. The CIF should do the same for Rancho Verde. Cen10 lost to an SD team this year who got blown out by another SD team. Cen10 is FAR from the best public and is benefiting from past reputation only. Since Cen10 has publicly denounced any type of future travel, you would think sending them to a "mandatory" match up with the best public up north would make sense. They have done more to get out of playing in this game than anything else. One would wonder why they'd rather get chewed up by 2 transfer train privates, rather than prove their metal against the best public up north/in CA.
