SJB is the better team at stretching the field vertically and horizontally. They use open space better and use it to supplement the downhill running game. IDK bout that, boss. I think the weather favors bosco more because they run the ball more than Aquinas. Quite frankly, I don't trust STA's run game as of now. I would think that Aquinas would want to use their QB and receivers more, so if the weather is bad, they gonna have to deal with a lot of dropped passes and errant throws.

The better team will win we are not letting this excuse continue for years Yes it does. I dont see how you can say it doesnt change the outcome. It changes play calling, scheme, style of play... athleticism is neutralized. Nobody is making excuses... just that it messes up the game and means that one team plays better in the rain. Not sure whos better on a dry field.

Don't worry though the players will take extra precaution in the rain so no one gets a boo boo

Athleticism will be neutralized to an extent. No excuses... the winner is the winner, but the winner will be the winner on a wet field. maxchoboian
Haven't read the whole thread and maybe this has been answered, but, they are playing at STA's home field? Turf, not natural grass, right?
