But I was doing mostly to show LDT he shouldn't be throwing stones when he's living in a glass home... Everything he just said about Louisiana stadiums is literally the exact same shit we can say about NJ... But atleast Louisiana has a guest side... Kalven
This will be epic. To those not used to that Cali life, sold out high school games are a big deal no matter the size of the stadium.

Gospeeder
Games of this magnitude should be scheduled at appropriate venues. In Ca. There really is no advantage in terms of "home and home" relative to how a crowd influences a game. Just the MD fans alone will surpass 5k.

And, if you are doing it even mo' right, they would have such disdain for one another that separating them by the width of a football field is barely enough. We sat around folks that had no connection to either Camden or Colquitt on Friday night. A good many actually. Folks from Jacksonville and Yulee that lamented about the level of play their area has, so they came to see our game.

NorCalRuss
There are some good venues that sellout regularly in California but overall it seems the hs football scene has died. Lot of schools don’t allow rooters buses any longer which kills away attendance. In the early 90s all of our Football and basketball games were packed on both sides of facility. Now usually away side is empty and often the home side is half empty unless homecoming or big game. It’s sad. I went to a hs game in very small town or Rushville Indiana few weeks ago and the stadium was packed on both sides, lot of kids on both teams and best part was $6 ribeyes for sale! It reminded me of the old days in Cali. 2

The games at the “Big Ed” (the nick name for the stadium at the time) where cool but always felt felt empty. We would have 30k but it looks like no one was there. Plus the fans were so far from the failed they might as well not been then. I was always a bigger fan of the Santa Ana Bowl...9k+ fans really close to the field. Plus, since the field is below street level the sound always echoes. 1

Maybe the stubhub would be better? Remember DLS & Bosco sold it out for the state title a few years ago. Panish will be at capacity Friday and it’ll be a good atmosphere but there would be 10 thousand + more fans at a different site.

Well, imagine if you could magically transform the mindset of CA communities to be as football crazy as in the Southeast. Even Georgia sized stadiums couldn’t contain the crowds. It simply isn’t the same out here and never will be. 2
