Track your investments for proof of performance and with your degree, I would assume that you could join a firm as an analyst and build your resume towards that focus of running a hedge fund one day. I’d research fully the idea and do know that long/short hedge funds have had a black eye of late. I’d shy away from that style of investing as a focus, unless you enjoy pain.
