I think they both beat MV and barely lost to Servite finishing 9-1 at both levels. Too bad they don't have a Future Farmers program. VP's jv team lost to Servite by only 1 point, but got clobbered by Servite freshmen 49-7.

The only thing worse than your "takes" on Nor Cal football prowess, is your ability to watch a football game and understand what is taking place on the field.

People are sleeping on DLS this year with all of the graduations. But I’m of the opinion, other than the LBs, the Spartans will be strong pretty much everywhere. That’s my opinion at least. The DLS Coaches apparently share your same opinion! I ran into one of their coaches at a local Establishment and had a great conversation with him! (We know each other from our Daughters Playing Soccer Together)... They are very excited about the next 2 years!!!...

They just didn’t that many reps playing behind 10, 11, 13,14, 17, 18, 75 and 67. The kids that will be replacing the DEs are 6-3 250 respectively .The tackles will be in the 270-280 range. And they have skill guys galore on both sides of the ball. ..including a QB that is going to shine this year. Still waiting to see about those backers though. Thanks for the update! Sounds great!

Bodysurf
From a pure talent standpoint you could make a case that Narbonne is the 3rd best team in Cali. But their performance on the field never lives up to the talent potential. Centennial and DLS would still beat Narbonne.

Hopefully this season they play to their potential and Folsom gets a legit SoCal team in the bowl game.

Narbonne doesn’t ever seem to match up against legitimate high octane offenses. I think if last year’s playoff game against Cathedral was at a neutral site, they would likely have prevailed, but I would bet that even an uninspired (as has been described) Folsom would have had a much easier win in the title game. I think there’s a handful more teams that would beat them.
