*edit* THSCA recommending Texas teams to not play OOS??

I believe this was the same case a couple years ago regarding IMG. But in that case IMG actually was poaching players.

This is just absurd if they apply the same argument to all OOS teams in general. The reality is that Texas has been exposed recently after scheduling elite OOS teams. Texas would rather play in their own little sandbox and pat themselves on the back falsely thinking how good they are.

But honestly I am astounded if this communication was actually sent. Have they no self pride? They must realize what a joke they would be in the eyes of everybody else.

You heard this? @Texasball @Horsefly @DevilDog

There was word that the UIL sent letters to head coaches and ADs all around Texas recommending them not to engage in OOS games and the reasoning behind it, is they don’t want the OOS teams poaching the TX players.

@HurricaneNick see what shit you guys started?

No I haven’t heard this, do you have a source?

This could be stemming from the Mater Dei fiasco.

Funny thing is there is hopefully 2 more games coming this year to Texas that will have just as much hype as MD/Duncanville and the TX teams will be the underdog. And the UIL is gonna blow a gasket if the games form and the results are expected.

Where are you getting this from? They haven’t chimed in on any OOS game results. I think you confused your organizations

You mean Duncanville (Probably TX #3 best team) got beat by Mater Dei.

Hmmm... the same Mater Dei team that went on to kick everyone else ass upside and down all season.

Ok.. we know that a recruited All-Star team filled with a lot of D1 FBS "Mostly P5 prospects" that gets almost year round coaching can be pretty good.  LOL

But.. Ya Texas was exposed..  LM "fucking" ass off.

Duncanville was like 7th in MOV against Mater Dei.

Going by your criteria,  they were equal to Orange Lutheran and JSerra

Actually...it's what IMG did in recent past in regards to poaching Texas players.

Nothing to do with Mater Dei.

This is old news actually.
